Robtail
mtbMTB designed on specific customer request and where the "softail" concept is developed with the adoption of original solutions.
The Lefty fork assembly, with 51mm rack, 67° steering angle and a consequent reduced trail, give rise to a lengthening of the wheelbase that does not compromise the compact position of the cyclist to the advantage of stability and steering precision.
A chain stay of only 425mm, partially in stainless steel (like the 31.6mm seat tube), makes the bike reactive for a quick recovery. The chainstays tubes are fixed by inserting them in a dedicated "U" (joke) specially built and welded to the bottom bracket shell; this solution considerably reinforces the area of maximum flexion of the chain stays and thanks to its shape it allows to shorten his length.
The junction of the seat stays to the top tube distant from the saddle node and without any point of welding to the seat tube, makes the rear stay particularly flexible vertically but stiff laterally. With this objective, the dedicated rear dropouts were also designed and then built with CNC machining.
